Main Description
The Rolling Returns and Volatility Tool is designed to show users the total returns, rolling returns, rolling volatility and rolling returns divided by volatility. This tool is intended as a research tool to give you insight into how a specific stock, ETF or mutual fund is performing.
Settings
Annual Return %
The annualized returns you expect your investments to make over the time period of the simulation
Annual Volatility %
The expected volatility of the portfolio over the simulation.
Annual Inflation %
The annual inflation amount per year that is expected to occur over the simulation.
Annual Inflation Volatility %
The expected volatility of the inflation %.
Investment Advisor Fees
If you are using a financial advisor to manage your money, there are fees you can enter here.
Retirement Savings Tool Specific Inputs
Current Age & Desired Retirement Age
The current age and the desired retirement age are used to calculate the number of years the user has for savings and investment to grow. The number of years contributing to retirement account is the desired retirement age minus the current age.
Current Account Size in $
The size of the account at the current time (current age).
Monthly Deposits into Retirement Account in $
The monthly deposits the user will be adding to the account, invested monthly.
Retirement Withdrawal Tool Specific Inputs
